
Anastasia Brozou studied archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and human paleopathology at Durham University. In 2021, she was awarded a PhD degree from Aarhus University for her thesis entitled Leprosy in Medieval Denmark: An Enigmatic Disease Under Investigation. She subsequently joined the ERC project FELIX as a postdoctoral researcher. Since March 2023, she has been working as a funding advisor at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Southern Denmark, and since September 2025, also as a project manager for AntCom.
