Jacob Buur is M.Sc., PhD and Professor at the Institute of Media, Design, Learning, and Knowledge. He is an Honorary Doctor at Aalto University and Chair of the SDU Citizen Science Talent Programme for Graduate Students (20+10 ECTS) . His research revolves around participation in design preactices, design anthropology, the study of design practices with theory instruments, and how people engage with data physicalizations. He is the author of more than 100 research papers, articles, and reports.
