Mogens Kragsig Jensen is a Research Librarian at the University Library, and Team Administrator of the library’s Special Collections. He holds a MA in History and Medieval Archaeology, and was trained at SDU and at the University of Aarhus. He has an interest in Danish history, and his publications are in the fields of nobility and church history, book- and bibliographic studies, and source editions. As part of his daily tasks at the University Library of Southern Denmark, Mogens works on the registration, preservation and digitization of the Special Collections, with a special interest in book provenance. During his time at the University Library, Mogens has been part of an SDU infrastructure project supported by the Carlsberg Foundation (2020), and has contributed to fundraising for book restoration. Furthermore he is Subject Specialist for History.
